Shyam makes full use of his downtime on ‘Jinx’ by paying tribute to the greatest martial arts legends in the world.
So I’ve recently been posting about a video per day, but have just realized that I’ve missed updating THIS site with those videos. Here they are!
1. Vlog Six | On the Set of “Jinx” (Part Three)
More from the shooting of our new short.
We couldn’t sing at him, and we couldn’t ignore the ridiculousness. The internet was our only way to call out the grade 11 kid acting *way* too cool.
2. Vlog Seven | On the Set of “Jinx” (Part Four)
We’re done Day One of filming. Just lettin’ loose.
3. Vlog Eight | On the Set of “Jinx” (Part Five)
Our second and final day of filming. We find an AV cart and things get crazy professional. But crazy first.
4. Vlog Nine | Vancouver 2010
The opening ceremonies of the Olympics? More like the opening ceremonies of the future.
More from the shooting of our new short.

More video from the set of Jinx!
In retrospect, they had to pack a lot of things and people into that beemer. But we were wasting gasoline.
It’s a misnomer for people on the inside to tell people on the outside that they shouldn’t do what they need to do to get on the inside.
I’ve gone on about how terrible Indian TV is for a long time - not a single fictional show has really ever broken the soap opera format, unlike Pakistani television, where the soapy shows never caught on and the focus has been on writing since the medium was introduced.
Yash Raj Films seems to have noticed the same thing as me (it’s near impossible not to), and is using their considerable clout to get film actors and competent filmmakers together to make a bunch of shows for the Sony Entertainment Television (yes, the PlayStation people have their own network).
The shows start in January, and will hopefully make their way online/on video soon enough to watch.
