Video Blog Sixteen: The “Studio”.

I recently had to do a video assignment for my Communications class (CMNS130W, if you need to know), and decided to share the “setup” I had… set up… at home to make me all lit up. Filmed with a lower quality camera this time, but you can still more or less tell what’s going on.

I finish first year University tomorrow, so hopefully that means more video blogs and kaymoney coming up soon!

I reaaaaallly want to say “Huzzah!” right here but that would just be annoying and weird. So I’m definitely NOT saying “Huzzah!”. Right here.

I went to Mannan and Arbab’s house yesterday. Arbab had borrowed a lighting kit from SFU for an assignment, and, since I’ve never had the opportunity to work with lighting for film/video, trying them out was really the only option we had.

We finished the first day of filming Jinx. And it got ‘hectic’.

More from the shooting of our new short.

We couldn’t sing at him, and we couldn’t ignore the ridiculousness. The internet was our only way to call out the grade 11 kid acting *way* too cool.

I’ve started a video blog!

What!

Yes, it’s true - I’m finding it hard to really get the time or energy to text-blog a daily journal of my progress re:projects, as well as ideas, insights, and observations. And it would be near-impossible to include my friends in those as well. So I’ve instead decided to keep a video blog as regularly as possible, and, while this first one is a tad long and rough, I swear I’ll get better given a bit of a chance.
